Overview

A concept app for documenting and sharing family recipes, designed with older family members in mind. Named after the Hebrew word for grandmother.

The Challenge

Family recipes often exist only in the memories of older generations. I wanted to create a way to preserve these culinary traditions in a format that's accessible for both tech-savvy and less tech-comfortable users.

The Solution

I focused on simplicity and warmth—large touch targets, voice-to-text for easy input, and a visual design that feels like a cherished family cookbook. The app allows adding personal notes, photos, and even voice recordings of family members sharing stories about the dishes.
